Brilliant forward with sometimes a touch of genius. Could take a one-handed
mark in a pack. Aboriginal player. |

Would disappear from time to time and nobody knew where he went. |

He was a great pick up from Melbourne, although looked
overweight most of the time (on a James Cook diet I think), he was
unstoppable at times and was one who helped us to win many games. |

Consider a super fast Huddo goal-kicking sneaky player of
aboriginal origin. Quick snaps and pot shots were this blokes method, and he
was consistently kicking goals that are up there with the skills you see in
players of this era, only when you see 'super goals' there is only an
average of one per player per year. Les brought the whole bag of tricks week
in week out.
