Premiership with East Perth 2002 |
Was a great pick up in the draft and he looked set for a marvellous career.
However he was diagnosed with
cancer (a malignant lump on the back of his neck). He doesn’t play any
football games. He strives to ‘try to get my life together.’
The Bulldogs rally around and support him, hoping to help him in his recovery. His motto is ‘Pain is temporary, Glory is forever’. This is picked up at the club and used. |
||
Shaun recovers and goes west where he attains football success with East Perth and retires in 2003.
