One of the founding members of the Footscray side in 1883. Won a gold medal,
donated by J Mansfield, for a great year in 1883. |

We can see that he is describes as 'Jack' and 'Jerry'. I have assumed these
are the same person. During one match in 1883 against Carlton play had to be stopped because the
rain was coming down in great torrents and the ground more resembled a lake
than a playing field. |
