Captain in 1979, 1980 and 1981. Nominated for Bulldogs' Team of the Century. Played 1974 final against Collingwood.

                                 

Footscray Midfielder-rover.
Western Bulldogs Courageous player working strongly in and around the packs. He won the hard ball. A shoulder injury and ankle injury kept him out of many games and he lost a lot of games in1974 due to an ankle injury.
His play was marked by accurate delivery, being one of the Bulldogs' top players in goals assists.
Geoff reckons that injuries cost him about 90 games with the Bulldogs. Persistent groin and thigh injuries eventually forced him into an early retirement.
  Coached QFL Mount Gravatt, Kedron and Kedron Grange. Coached AFLQ Western Magpies to 2003.
