Honours | Captain Victorian under 15's. Rising Star nominee. Reserves Grand Final. |
Also wore number 36. A guy with
a film-star type name. He had a semi-cult following with some supporters, he
was the last kid we took through zoning, grabbing him at a super early age
that the AFL has banned these days (16 year old?) When we bothered to use him he scored the goals he was expected to. Never did the opponents give him much care, but when your job is to just get goals then that's an asset surely?!?!? |
||
Another example of the scoring was his burst against Collingwood in a raining night game. Came on and killed, which led Collingwood coach Tony Shaw to want to get him to their club, facilitating that trade for Mahoney!
1998 National Draft swapped him to Collingwood for Josh Mahoney.
He kicked 11 in the semi-final reserve grade in 1997 helping the dogs to a Reserve grade Grand Final! |
