Picked him up as a tough competitor after he had 21 games
with Brisbane. Could have been picked up by Collingwood under the
'Father-Son Rule' as he is the son of one of their long serving and famous
players Billy Picken, but was over-looked. |

He played all three Wizard Cup matches in 2002 but the
senior games eluded him because of a lack of opportunity. Best he managed
was to be nominated as an emergency. Played well for Werribee in the VFL.
Can play in most positions on the ground - defence,
the midfield or as a clever forward. |
