a tough raw-boned tall kid who they said could kick a bag of wheat over a
silo. He just about could too. |

but took stints at full-forward and centre-half forward. Nick-named "Fish"
and sometimes "Sock-eye". Played many games at centre-half-back.
Could kick the ball a long way. |
