Not much known about him except an article in the
Independent Newspaper in May 1983 that he was recruited in a major
recruitment drive when Footscray entered the VJCA competition in 1883. |

name back from the 'Prince Imperials' to Footscray and they were entering a
new competition run by the VJCA. |

The team photo describes him as Joe West, years later a photograph describes
him as C West. It is not known if these are the same person. |
